LIVE Dance Academy (LDA) is a Performing Arts Academy for children and adults. LDA is designed to promote creativity, collaboration, community through singing, acting and dance classes and parties where all are welcome.
A little bit about us...
LIVE Dance Academy (LDA) is a performing arts school based in South London for both children and adults. We offer affordable dance classes, singing lessons, and acting classes designed to promote creativity, collaboration and community. Founded by Miss Gina, a fully qualified ISTD dance teacher, with many years’ experience in ballet, tap, modern jazz, street dance, commercial, vocals, drama, and musical theatre. At LDA, we believe that everyone is a creative. Our classes are designed to help students build confidence, form friendships and express themselves unapologetically in a safe space.
Our Creative Family
Throughout Miss Gina’s entire dance journey, she didn’t see teachers who looked like her. Watching Alvin Ailey, a black American dance company, perform ignited her dream of starting a dance academy that championed representation and inspire the next generation of talent.
Miss Gina says “I want to be the role model I never had in performing arts.” At LDA, no matter your background, shape, size or other factors — you belong here.
After securing funding from The Prince’s Trust, Miss Gina poured her heart into building a space where community thrives. Whether you’re here to browse or book a class, we’re excited for you to join our creative family!

We carefully craft each class, club, party and workshop so adults and children of all ages can learn, grow and thrive in a fun and creative environment.
